Week 4 Weigh-In

Weighed in this morning after just 4 weeks of weight watchers and I’m down 17 lbs total.  Super excited about that number.  It really hasn’t been as difficult as I thought.  The plan is super easy to follow.  It just takes a little more planning for the week and less going out to eat.  Throw in exercise and you’ll drop the weight even faster.  I like that I have options on this plan.  If I want to have Mexican food tonight I can.  I just make sure to eat extremely healthy during the day and by dinner fajitas aren’t pushing me over the edge with my calories.  Sure I’ve tweaked a few things.   For instance, instead of flour tortillas I choose corn.  Rather than adding all the cheese I sprinkle a small amount and use the pico de gallo to help give it flavor.  A tablespoon or two of rice and beans and I’m done.  Skip the chips & queso and there you have it.  A nice Mexican dinner for under 10pts.  The best part about it.  I feel satisfied after dinner.  Not starving or overly stuffed.  It just seems like more of a realistic diet.  Excuse me…lifestyle change.  I’m trying to quit using the word diet.  Anyhow…I won’t bore you all too much with all the weight loss details but if I come across any recipes or snacks that I like I will make sure and pass them along on here.

Goodbye Ranch Dressing!

Marie’s Italian Vinaigrette.  If you haven’t tried it you really should.  For those WW women/men out there it is only 2pts a serving (2 tablespoons).  In all honestly you really old need half a serving which makes it ever better for those counting points/calories.  Goodbye Ranch!
